Northwood High School’s Arts department brings a creative and comprehensive dimension of studies to Northwood High School. The school has been twice named a California Exemplary Arts Program and has received countless regional, statewide, and national recognitions. The Music program has received six Grammy Signature School awards, the Performing Arts programs have received Cappies and MACY awards, the Visual Arts program has received state finalist recognition in the Vans’ Custom Culture competition, and the Computer Graphics program has received Digital Media Arts and OC Maker Challenge awards, including “Most Innovative Product” and “Entrepreneur of the Year.”
