NHS Athletics Collective Purpose Statement

NHS Athletics exists to foster a learning environment reflective of the school’s core values, where all student-athletes can compete for the greater purpose of developing personal character and commitment to teamwork and community.

Northwood CIF-SS Dead Period

This summer, Northwood Athletics will implement its Dead Period from June 8th to June 22nd. During this mandatory Dead Period, all Northwood Athletics will take a break! The Dead Period is a no-contact rule per CIF. During this time, all athletics programs will stop running and there will be no contact or coordinated workouts between coaches and student-athletes/families. This is a great time to plan to vacation to avoid missing any summer camps!

 Summer Camp Information will be announced in April 2024.

Athletics Schedules

Prior to any athletic participation, athletes must complete a physical exam by a licensed physician, and create an athletic clearance account at https://www.athleticclearance.com.  All required documents must be completed, and a signed confirmation sheet turned in to the NHS Athletics Office.
