IUSD Summer School Registration Information

IUSD will be offering courses for remediation and enrichment. Please see below for important information!

Dates: June 9-July 21, 2022 (no school July 4 or 5)

Location: University High School (enrichment courses will be offered virtually)

Registration Dates: April 12-April 24 at 8:00pm.  Students who request courses after April 24 will be waitlisted.

Who should attend summer school?

  • Any student who has earned a D or an F in a course needed to graduate or needed to satisfy the College Readiness requirements
  • Any student who is interested in completing their Health requirement, their Fine Arts requirement (Drawing), or a semester of PE (virtual courses)
  • Any student who is interested in completing a CTE course (virtual courses)
  • Any Math 2 student recommended for Math Bridge (virtual, with in-person assessments)

What if I cannot commit to being here for the duration of the program?

The attendance policies for both Learning Recovery and Acceleration/Enrichment are created to ensure that students receive the maximum benefit from the courses.  If you cannot commit to the attendance policies, outlined in the catalog, please talk with your counselor about other potential options.

How will I know what my schedule will be?

Summer school schedules will be available through www.myiusd.org (Links to an external site.) on or after June 1. The catalog contains directions.
