Congratulations Class of 2023!
The Northwood High School Graduation Ceremony will be held at 1:30 pm on June 1st at the Bren Event Center on the campus of UCI located at 100 Mesa Dr. in Irvine.
For those unable to attend the ceremony in person, we are pleased to inform you that the 2022 Commencement Ceremony will be live streamed. Please visit iusd.org/NHSgrad to view the ceremony on June 1st. You will be prompted to enter the password: timberwolves.

Health and Safety
- The Bren Event Center utilizes metal detectors and bag checks to ensure the safety of everyone. All participants and spectators can expect to pass through a metal detector and have their bags checked.
Arrival
- Seniors are to be at the NHS theater at 11:30 am with their cap and gown
- Cell phones, leis, etc. will not be allowed in the ceremony
- Doors open at the Bren Event Center at 12:00 pm
- Balloons and posters are not allowed in the venue
Seating
- Each guest must have a ticket to enter the venue. The seating is not assigned.

Parking
- Permits are required for ALL vehicles parking on campus!
- Plan accordingly and ARRIVE EARLY to the event
- UCI Transportation staff may direct guests to available lots upon arrival.
- Be Patient: UCI Transportation staff may redirect you to the nearest available Parking Lot once Mesa Parking Structure fills up: (Possible other Lots: #7 / #14A / #5 / SCPS / or other)
- Expect delays on University Drive and Mesa Road upon arrival & departure
- Limited handicapped parking will be available in the parking structure on Mesa Road.

- Pay on the DAY of the EVENT RATE for $18.00. ONLY bank cards will be accepted, cash payment will not be accepted.
Conclusion
- You may plan on meeting your student outside the venue at the conclusion of the ceremony (students will NOT be bussed back to NHS)
- The ceremony should be complete by 3:00 pm
