Detentions are earned when students have an unverified absence, or cut. For every cut, a detention is assigned and for every five detentions, a Reflect and Restore Seminar (R&R Seminar) will be assigned.

Detentions can be served by attending detention before school (Monday - Friday) or after school (Thursday or Friday). Detentions are held in room 1026 on the following days and at various times to accommodate students’ schedules.  Students should arrive promptly and bring your school ID, writing utensil, and assignments to complete. Cell phones are not allowed during this time.  Arrive early - detention will be capped at 25 students.

Monday: 7:15 - 8:15 AM (before school)

Tuesday: 7:15 - 8:15 AM (before school)

Wednesday (Late Start): 8:15 - 9:15 AM (before school)

Thursday: 7:15 - 8:15 AM (before school) and 2:30 - 3:30 PM

Friday: 7:15 - 8:15 AM (before school) and 2:30 - 3:30 PM

Please note: Our detention schedule may change to adjust to any changes with our bell schedule.  If the Late Start day is not on Wednesday, detention will begin at 8:15AM on the late start day.

Detention will be held in the mornings on May 30 - June 2 in room 1026 from 7:45 - 8:45 AM.  There will be no afternoon detention.

To avoid detention in the future, students should attend school daily and arrive on time for their classes.  In case of an absence, please remember that parents must call the Attendance Office or sign a note to submit to the Attendance Office within three days of the absence.
